This doesn't make a bit of sense to me. How is it that Bush has kept peons from al-Qaeda and the Taliban locked up in Gitmo since 2001, and continues to keep them there (and possibly continues to torture them) because he claims they *may* still have valuable information, yet we're letting the Iraqis kill Hussein when we *know* he has valuable information?

For instance, was Saddam waterboarded to finally confess that he did in fact have connections with al-Qaeda and was involved in 9-11 (as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld have claimed ad nausem since before the Iraq war began)? Doesn't Saddam have valuable and juicy info on his neighbors, specifically IRAN? I could go on and on and on...

Never mind the fact that his sentencing hearing was fake, and was timed to occur two days before our midterm elections. This whole thing leaves me with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.
