what with his last words to Iraqis and his goodbyes to his family, you watch, he'll be played off as a martyr for the cause (political)........

The sectarian violence will only increase and that country will implode IMO.

Personally, I am not sure I agree with a death sentence, but of course they didnt pass the memo my way.......In a strange sort of way, I feel compassion for him at the end, knowing that he will soon have to face his earthly deeds...thats an awful lot of bad Karma to have to overcome..........

I read that a watchdog group (forget which one) said his trial was a joke, that there were all sorts of miscarriages of justice and that the sentence wasnt valid because the trial wasnt proper....

Well they're saying within hours now.

Not only will a martyr be created but it will be a convenient peg for some on which to hang future acts of violence. So yeah, a clever move all round

What's even more sick and morbid is US TV execs are weighing airing this thing. It's apparently being taped...I just heard about it on NPR...
