I don't ever make any resolutions .... but I really really would like to get back to the gym ...... can't seem to get motivated enough to do it, though. I've got the membership, I just never ever go. Very. bad.

I have fallen in love twice and I have felt pain twice like nobody's business. One just didn't work out, the other one died. Don't ever say you don't want to fall in love because that means you don't want to live. Rise above, Curtis, rise above. It hurts but don't tell yourself that you don't want to fall in love.

The book encourages you to move toward actions that make you feel good about yourself. You make small changes week to week that add up. You can recondition yourself to want to do things that are healthier. It can't be a punishment for being bad or it will never work. Also, weight loss is a side-effect of doing things that make you feel good. Just read it!
