Well, when I saw the band twice during Say You Will, it was amazing, but I wasn't nearly as developed of a fan as I am now.....
I've been listening to all sorts of concert audio and stuff, and I have determined that I miss seeing the band, and being in their presence SOOOO much...... Anyone else feeling this way??? Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm telling you, I NEED ANOTHER TOUR!!! Much Love, Ethan

I miss Saturday morning cartoons.
![]() I don't really miss the Mac. Why would I, when I can listen to their music whenever I want? I only miss Christine, really... |

Right? I don't miss them...they get played nearly every day
![]() The concerts? Were a fleeting few hours of my life...I didn't spend time with them...they were above us all on a stage, instead I spent time with thousands of others...which I could give or take. |

I don't think I'd want to go now, either. I've discovered that I actually have no desire to see them live... Unless I could go back to the Dance era. : |

You're so right MusicMan, there's nothing like seeing The Mac, LIVE in concert. I'd take one good live concert to all the demos and bootlegs in the world. NOTHING quite compares. If we're lucky, FM will be on the road again in '07.

No problem dude. And if Stevie and Lindsey are both busting loose like they have been on their solo tours, we're in for ONE BIG PARTAY!

I'll take 'em both back to back to back. I know I'm greedy, but I didn't get everything I wanted for Christmas either...SO THERE! |

I don't miss them at all...they are a daily presence in spirit and sound. As far as seeing them live...I attended a Mirage show (awesome!!), 2 Behind The Mask shows, a Time show, 2 Dance shows, and 2 Say You Wiill shows. I was a fan and old enough to have attended a Rumours or Tusk show, but I didn't start going to concerts until late 1979 (Styx! lol).
Let's face it, they aren't getting any younger. How many more tours can we really expect? I'll still see them if they come around, but not so thrilled to hear the same songs they've played to death a thousand times over. If they open with The Chain again, it's a good indication they are still stuck in the same old routine. Never has there been a band I've followed for so long that has been so safe and uninspired when it comes to set lists. Neophytes forgive me, but they don't have to play Rhiannon, Landslide etc... to put on a good show! I think of younger big bands such as U2 and REM...a lot of their early hits that established them...they don't often play now....because they've evolved and developed newer material. They perform just a small fraction of their initial material. No one goes to a U2 concert and feels slighted that they didn't perform their first big hit "I Will Follow." Unfortunately, Fleetwood Mac isn't that nimble or forward thinking. They've largely become just a band playing the oldies. Although, I must give credit to Lindsey for shaking it up some.

I've never seen the Mac live (yet) but I have to agree! At this stage I would rather see some different songs at a concert than the old traditionals which honestly aren't what they used to be!! Things indeed like Landslide and dare I say it? Silver Springs have been done brilliantly in the past but now are getting tired. So even if it means I'll never see them done live, well or not, I'd rather have the memories and videos of the good times (!) and have them sink their teeth into something different. |

Ok, here's a little game to play, for all of us. Which FM songs would you for real get rid of, and what would you replace them with?
I would get rid of Landslide for maybe Sara (as a full time song) Gold Dust Woman for something like Seven Wonders. I dunno It's just too hard to pick and choose.![]()
