My siblings got me gift cards from Best Buy and Lane Bryant.
Mom got me slippers & a nice warm houserobe with penguins and bears on it, a small makeup kit, a pair of brown slacks, a brown skirt, and an MP3 player.
My friend Jodi got me an MP3 player also and two sterling beads for my Pandora bracelet.
My friends Angie & John made me an awesome 2-CD set of Bekka Bramlett tunes and guest appearences, a Christmas towel, two cookbooks, and a couple of note pads as I am always noting things at work!
My co-worker Grace got me a bag of Lindt Truffles....yummy!
My friend and co-worker Margaret got me a sterling Pandora bead and a chihuahua Christmas ornament.
I also selected Margaret's package at the office party's grab bag gift festivities, a Rachel Ray cookbook.
My work gave me a $300.00 cash bonus...cool

Holy crap dude. Congrats on having parents who are both wealthy and nice.

I got the Creative Zen V with 1GB. I think it may be my computer, maybe the software didn't install correctly (even though it said it was successful.) I'm having 2 problems: I charged the mp3 (with a power adapter), but now it won't turn on; and any time I plug it into any of my computer's USB ports, my mouse stops working, preventing me from clicking OK. I got a long ass email back from tech support today, so between Mark & I, hopefully we can figure it out tonight.

I got a king size bed with eurotrek memory foam pillow top. I love it! It's like sleeping on a cloud. I have a bad back and it's perfect for it. I've never had king size before, hubby's like 4 rolls away now Now I have to get the head board and frame for it.

I got my daughter a acoustic guitar and lessons (in honor of Lindsey ). I can't wait to hear her play some FM one day . Is Landslide hard?

Heart YES- surprise happy gifts

OK you all know I love the moon and stuff-
My husbands 's family got me a high powered telescope!!!!
It took my husband and I (mostly him...he,he like 3 hours to put it together I am SOSOSOOO excited)

The weather has been so terrible here that I don't know that I will be able to see anything until 2007...
I was so surprised! It wasn't something that I asked for---- just , I don't know , like a secret wish that I always had...and when I opened it...I was like those kids on that TV ad, YES!!!!, YES!!!, jumping up and down
like a child (i am in my 40's -what a moron)-
You can say I was pretty excited )

Just wanted to share...Can't wait to look at all the stars and moon's different locations-It came with really descriptive maps too- Yes Yes!

It is pretty cool. I have another one which was really losing its religion. The old one was for work - and was a 9.6 volt Makita. This is only a 7.2 Ryobi so it won't really drive into a 2x4 but it's good for things around the house. I still have the crapppy old one for tougher outdoor stuff. Oh, and it came with sockets, which is totally cool.

Hmm...that's odd - but I have heard some complaints about their software...the turning on thing is alarming though...hope you get it resolved...

I finally had a problem with mine, it froze on me - but it was an easy fix (after a non-easy period of completely freaking out) and I've not had any problems since.

If the tech support thing is not helpful or doesn't work - you may try googling your problem - that's what I did and I got an answer

Good luck!! Let me know if it starts working for ya....Creatives are generally great products

^ Right now I'm only annoyed. But if I can't fix the problem tonight, I'll be moving on to pissed.

How can an electronic device be so damn cute, btw?

Yeah...I was close to breakdown mode when mine got quirky....but if worse comes to worst you can always trade it for another one....though that sucks.

If ya can't get it to turn on that's very bizarre...have you tried the reset button? I'm not sure if your model has one...but you have to press play/pause and reset at the same time - that took care of my problem....

I would be more help if I were familiar with the model - but of course you'd do well to take any advice from the Creative Tech people than from me

It was special for all of us.

From Santa (for Sara's benefit, I buy these things for myself) I got a 19 inch flat screen monitor, 800 thread count sheets, Sex in the City season 6 part 2, and a flat iron for my hair.

From Sara I received a beautiful necklace from the schools Santa shop, and a Mickey Mouse waffle iron.

Samantha and her family gave us our puppy! (who is happily sitting in my lap, there's no place else he'd rather be)

And from mom, dad and grandma I received Victoria's Secret gift cards, TGIFriday's gift cards, Best Buy gift cards, a cashmere sweater, a bench to sit on and store shoes in for my laundry room... and that's about it.

This was the best Christmas I've had in 4 years....
Wow, that sounds great! I'm so happy for you.

Yeah, I've already been in touch with them & they emailed me back, but I'm at work. So if all goes well, it will be fixed tonight.
