i miss this thread!

today i went to trader joe's. i love trader joe's. i got sooooo much stuff, and it was only $30. i got soy milk, cereal, edamame, extra virgin olive oil, apples, all natural salt-free pb, just to name a few. i luuuuuuuuuuurve trader joe's! so inexpensive, and the people are so friendly.

oh, i also got some delicious 70% cacao chocolate. i had a craving.

First I bought it from an Amazon third-party seller, but it never arrived. Then I bought it from a different Amazon third-party seller and they sent the wrong CD. Finally deciding that Amazon Marketplace is cursed, I bought it from a seller on Ebay. Let's hope the third time's the charm.

Last gift of the holiday season - a sweater for my best friend. I spotted it last night at Macy's, 40% off plus I had a $10 coupon (cuz I'm cheap.) So I get up to the register & they point out to me that the coupon's only good until 1pm.

But it's good tomorrow too!

But only until 1pm.

So I was at Macy's before work at 9am today buying the damn sweater (and a pair of socks to make the $25 minimum

) B*tch had better like it.

I hate Gap. I know -that sentiment belongs in another thread -but bear with me. I feel in love with a GapScent called Sueded Musk. LOve. Ok - well because The Gap is an asshole they've discontinued the scent....I called all Gaps in a 100 mile radius to me in Colorado - no one carries it anymore...

Finally a Gap in Albuquerque had lotion left...I cleaned them out

6 lotions and 2 Body butters....and I'm sure they thought I was nuts at the register...but I'm so bitter they've gotten rid of this heavenly scent....

I get complimented almost daily on smelling good...I'm gonna miss my Sueded Musk when it's gone

SO anyway - tons of lotion was my last purchase, but two Amy Tan books

i just bought seinfeld, seasons 1&2 for my friend abbie, a john legend dvd for my friend amrita, a subscription to the new yorker for my mom, team america for my brother, and dolly parton: the acoustic collection for myself. because that's how i roll.

TTaking the dress back today. The dress itself is gorgeous, but not flattering to my body the more I look at it. Apparently, Empire waists make me look pregnant.

I just bought a 100% Cashmere sweater for about $25...Kohl's was having great sales...

I finally bought a new winter coat...only $40...originally $140

I love it...and I actually found a wonderful pair of black pants that look fantastic on me...

So I'm going to look all warm yet lovely at our holiday party tonight
