Sleeping without him in the bed, is by far, the hardest part. My teddy bear.

One of the things that I loved about cold weather was - he would snuggle up against me so tight, that I couldn't(wouldn't) move, because I didn't want to wake him up. He'd completely "spoon" my backside(shoulders really, he was only 30ish lbs), and I'd wake up with both his front legs/paws across my face. On those days, I'd lie there still, maybe a full half hour after I awoke, because I loved it, having my best friend so close.
Good times, I'm tellin' ya. The best.

(gawd I feel like a dork, sharing that stuff. But, F it).

that is so sweet~ my weenie dog & i sleep just like that~ & it is NOT dorky, it means you have a huge wonderful heart

That's awesome.

I put them on Bubba last year - I swear to you, he stuck his jaw out & pouted. He wouldn't move an inch while they were on his head, he was so pissed.

EDIT:
Found it! This is from last year. I didn't attempt it this year, I figured I'd give him a break.

OMG...Bubba looks really miffed

So cute.

So...I came home to a gross mess. I stupidly left some kleenex and possibly food within Clancy's reach - well aparently she ate them....and got so sick while I was at work. I walked in to a little (well not so little) pile of runny poo

I cleaned that up, after taking her out, at which point she major pooed again...then I came in, went to the bathroom to wash my hands and discovered that she'd pooed in the shower...which is bizarre - she never goes in there!!

Poor thing...I just hugged her little sick body...I can't get mad at a sick dog - especially when it's my fault for leaving crap within her reach
