I think it is amazing that several people have called you out on your equivocal answers and you think everyone else is seeing things. Maybe it's time to rethink this and see yourself as we are all seeing you.

I mean your initial response was directed at all Muslims as that was the question and then the whole hoping not to have to say you told us so seemingly was the response you wanted to give as you have not really backed away from that, esp. when asked. Yes, you have inserted terrorists in some later statements, but then made it very clear that you hate Muslims who support them, which you have not said is not all Muslims. That is where people are coming from.

What more do you want? If you want to all go back and go by my original (inaccurate) post instead of accepting my clarification thats entirely UP TO YOU! I mis-spoke to begin with, tried to correct it and nobody wants to accept that correction. So, you can think whatever the hell you want to. You apparently are anyway, no matter how many times Ive tried to accomodate you.

If hating terrorists makes me a bigot, so be it. Ive already said what I felt about Muslims, both the terrorists, AND the moderates. Ive explained why. Ive explained the "I hope I dont have to say I told you so" Ive also said I dont believe in concenration camps for ANYONE.

I think Ive been pretty patient considering............

I did answer every single one of your questions. And I'll answer this one too:
do I think All Muslims support the extremists? NO. no more than I support the Christian fundies. Thats silly. And of course, I dont hate them. My world is big enuff to allow all peoples of good will to live in PEACE together, I dont care WHAT their faith is.

Im not ashamed of one single word I posted. I may have been overbroad to begin with but if you ask for clarification, then it behooves you to ACCEPT what I say when I DO clarify.

2 - Why won't you answer my question about your choice of wording?

3 - Please stop trying to make yourself a victim, or imply that the rest of us don't have a problem with terrorists. because that's bull**** and you know it. Hating terrorists doesn't make you a bigot, Mary. But your statement about Muslims does.

my statement about Muslims WAS clarified! I didnt edit because it was quoted and felt it was just easier to address the issue in a subsequent post.

Is there anything else? So now hating terrorists DOESNT make me a bigot?

oh yes, Paula's little dig several pages back where she called me a bigot but not a racist because I said I wasnt being racist because I had issues with terrorists. You jumped in, did you forget?
