Default Question...

I'm helping my sister with a school project and I need a high quality version of the infamous 1977 Rolling Stone cover. Does it even exist? I don't think I've ever seen even a somewhat decent version before, it's either small or very blurry...

Rolling Stones had paper (like newspaper) covers back in the 70's and early 80's. So they have that weathered yellowed aged look to them these days. The shiny glossy covers started around 83 or 84 I think

I'm not sure how big you are looking for, but here is a link to RS Cover Photos
http://www.rollingstone.com/photos/covers/_/year/1977

I know, I just need a large version that is not too blurry, I can make it shiny and glossy myself in photoshop.

This the one you're talking about?

I can try to talk my husband into hooking the larger scanner up to scan it.

Oh, I've been working on that for years. She likes FM and Stevie enough to tolerate my obsessiveness. Well, she kind of has to, because she lives with me.

She has to do a project for graphic design/magazine editing, which involves an article about a popular band and she has to create a 4-page layout around it. She has to design all additional graphics/images herself and she's only allowed to use two existing photos, one of which is going to be the RS cover, since that's the article she's basing her project on. It's projects like these I am always willing to extend a helping hand on...
