I'm looking up flights to Vegas. There's a flight with only one stop for the insanely cheap amount of 415 bucks and I want to book it so badly, but I need some confirmation from Nicks' camp about the Vegas dates first. That flight better still be available when the time comes.

It seems so sily now. I was just tired, stressed and jealous of people with social lives who have others to love and care about them.

Mine was way silly - that didn't stop me from venting it out to hell in the last page...

It just feels good to get it off your chest...

I just read that. Secret Santa is so lame. I hate doing it. Thankfully, I haven't had to do in a long time... Since like, seventh grade, or something?

In general, I can't stand when you get people totally awesome gifts, and they're like, here have a roll of toilet paper or something. Thanks.

Yeah, it is silly but I tend to agree. It truly is the thought that counts, and when someone gives me something just for the sake of giving something, it brings you down. I'd rather you make me a mix CD, or bake me some cookies, or frame some photos - nothing expensive, but things I like.

I guess it's harder when it's a work environment & you don't know people that well. But when I got married & asked for NO gifts, my neighbor/friend got me a figurine fro a collection that she collects. Wow. Thanks. I have it, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be rude or seem ungrateful, but 2 years later it still pisses me off a little.

lol...I hate it when people get you something they collect, although I'm sure the intent is a nice one.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not expected diamonds over here - and there is a price limit - but I've stayed well within the limit while getting/putting together cool stuff...and some other people are getting cool stuff...

I? Get a fu**ing can of stale cookies from the Dollar Store

I'm feeling better now, after venting...and really there's nothing I can do but get over it - so I'm gonna...

The lack of birthday cake, on the other hand...is still pissing me off
