Yes... I wouldn't be surprised if Stevie was getting paid serious coin to do a corporate gig. I know for the past couple of years Carly Simon did gigs for Ford Motor company in Florida. Perhaps they are looking for another 60-ish diva to grace the stage. I suspect that the Hollywood and Tampa shows were afterthoughts- they probably helped to justify the cost and expense of getting the band get back together for the corporate gig. Similarly, I suspect that the March Vegas dates are also about getting the band back together, rehearsing, etc. for the HI show.

This makes me less optimistic about a full-fledged spring tour from Stevie. . Accordingly, I hope this means that she's going to spend the rest of next year relaxing and writing songs for a new FM album in 2008!!
