Default Stevie on the UK Charts

OK just to clear this one up...there seems to be some confusion about which songs did what on the UK charts. Here is the complete list of Stevie releases from "The Complete Book Of The British Charts: Singles and Albums".

Leather and Lace - failed to chart
Edge of Seventeen - failed to chart
Stand Back - failed to chart
If Anyone Falls - failed to chart
Nightbird - failed to chart
I Can't Wait - 54
Talk To Me - 68
yes the UK got I Can't Wait before Talk To Me
Has Anyone Ever Written - failed to chart
Rooms on Fire - 16
Long Way To Go - 60
Whole Lotta Touble - 62
Sometime's it's a Bitch - 40
I Can't Wait (re-release) - 47
Maybe Love - 42
Blue Denim - failed to chart

ALBUMS:

Bella Donna - 11
The Wild Heart - 28
Rock a Little - 30
Other Side of the Mirror - 3
Timespace - 15
Street Angel - 16
Enchanted Boxsett - failed to chart
Trouble in Shangri-La - 43

just so people know what went on in the UK...

I know I am not the only one here who believes firmly that the Brits have tin ears. "Edge of Seventeen" and "Stand Back" don't chart, yet "Sometimes it's a Bitch" cracks the Top 40? And "Street Angel" charts higher than "The Wild Heart?"

I guess it stands to reason why Robbie Williams is so popular over there...

Not to mention OSOTM hitting number 3 on the charts...

The Brits of that time must have had tins in their eras, but not all of them... Make no mistake, we're not all that stupid! Well for one, I'm not British I'm Irish, but I adore this woman's music and if I had been old enough to purchase any of her music (I was only born in 1987 so I wasn't around for the great Stevie era... only gettin into it now, 20 years later! Damn being born a decade too bloody late...)
And my very British uncle bought every single album and single Stevie ever released (solo and with the Mac) and also went to see her on her OSOTM tour... so they aren't all deaf to the sound of good music!
Oh and one more thing... PLEASE don't think we all like Robbie Williams either. I'm perfectly content with my Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Journey, The Smiths, Pearl Jam, Pixies etc... NOT rubbish like Robbie Williams! And he's kind of losing his crown over here anyway-about time!

The UK chart listings on here are from the same book only these are from the First Edition. The First Edition of this only covered the top 40 upto 2000, the Second Edition had the top 100 upto 2002 and the Third Edtion lists thoughs that didn't make that charts which is the copy I have.
