One night, a group of us had gone back to my apartment, and I was making snacks and pouring wine - the neighbor guy who had a girlfriend who wasn't there and he was a scorpio was flirting with me, and I cut myself with a knife and broke a wine glass within about five minutes of each other. He was agitating me and I was drunk. Bad combo. Taken a couple ass tumbles on my rollerblades going to fast around the corner. I think i had a little bike problem once. I always come up the next day with multiple mysterious bruises. The thing is, I'm not weaving and hobbling like other drunk people, I'm walking normal and fast and slamming into things. Good thing it doesn't hurt much when you are drunk.
During almost my whole 20's, too, I had good friends as bartenders, here and in Chico. Freedrinkapalooza. One of my friends here worked in 2 bars, and one in Chico did as well. So, double fun.
and doorways are too small and furniture moves.....

"too nice" *looks for barf container*

yeah. i'm a fool when i'm sober, i can't conduct myself respectably at ALL when i'm drunk. i'm actually way way way more horrified thinking about this story than i have been in the past because a) i've never shared it with anyone and b) i've never thought of it in a linear way before. like, the whole sequence of events ... dear god.

Oh yes, I do that too, in the early stages of drunk. In fact, when I cocktailed, I used to depend on that careening to help me weave through the crowd.

So in keeping with the original invite, I am now sipping Port wine because the toddy was too much work.

This thread is totally making me want liquor.

IS there subliminal advertising I missed somewhere? Dammit.

Speaking of which...I just remember I did have a really good German beer recently...at work...our general manager brought beer in to celebrate the end of our pledge drive...

I wish I could remember the name...because it's rare that I like a beer.

Oh and of course I never do anything embarassing when drunk either...I was lying the other times...I'm practically perfect in every way dontcha know.

Hey let's say they were all too drunk to pay attention to, or remember your antics.

You are totally missing out, buzzed rollerblading is sooo fun. Like flying. I live at the bottom of a gently sloped hill.
How else am I supposed to get to and from? Okay, the rollerblade thing was probably on the way back from the store, if you catch my drift.
I know, isn't that weird you can get bike DUI's?
I can't believe you hit on a boy.

I'm guessing it involved vodka, sequins, and Jazzy waking up covered in mud, while the cd player played the theme song to Full House.
