Default Stevie on Saturday Night Live

just for the hell of it. One of 3(?) Nightbird performances. I think there's 3 anyway. I only know of this and the Solid Gold Performance.

Thanks for posting this. A while back someone posted a youtube link to a Stand Back performance that I think was from Solid Gold. Stevie was wearing a red dress. I found the thread, but the link to the video is dead. If anyone has a link to this I hope they'll post it.

gawd. SNL and SG are two of the best performances Stevie's ever given. I would love a HQ copy of these 2 "shows"

The Solid Gold performance is one of my all-time favorites (of any song). I'd love to hear in concert today. I always thought it sounded great on stage the few times it was performed.

Stevie was such a trailblazer. Was she the only person ever to have sung live on Solid Gold? Does someone have the Nightbird clip? It was posted on YouTube for a while, but the person took it down for some reason.

That's a good question. We used to watch Solid Gold constantly (what adolescent didn't watch it?), and I don't remember anyone other than Stevie ever singing live.
It would be cool to find out if Stevie was the first and/or only, or if anyone else did it before or after her.
