Default nothing is more frustrating than ...

  • not being able to find a ponytail holder even though you have 400 of them
  • being late to work because of it
  • having to go to work at all

Hey...you're teaching me all sorts of Ledge tricks today..didn't know how to make bullets....!!

having to work at all does suck....

Right now nothing in the world is more frustrating that dental insurance that won't pay a claim even though it's for such a common thing

Thumbs down Food.

I DESPISE having to come up with something to eat everyday. It's a burden. I don't know what I want and I'm too picky anyways. I just wanna order another pizza (since it's snowing outside, cold and everyone stayed home today. Yay. ), but I ordered one the other day. I eat it WAY too often these days. I am not a cook and I just hate it.

the most annoying thing ever is when you can't find a pen and you need one but you're almost certain you saw one not 10 minutes ago whilst you were tidying up or just generally pottering around the house. ARGH!!

I was seriously just thinking that this week...how I hate that I have to keep coming up with things to eat every single day..it's a pain in the ass having to pack my lunch etc...

I could eat nothing but pizza and burgers and be happy - ok - actually I wouldn't be happy because I'd weigh 500 pounds...but the point being - I hear ya...

And I tend to get tired of food really fast too...so I'll find something I adore then tire of it in a month...then I'm back to square one...blah.

Nothing in the world is more frustrating than... people who come into the library mere minutes before closing time and then keep us an extra 20 minutes.
I don't get paid overtime you idiots, so drag your alcoholic ass out of the bar earlier if you want to "rent up some movies" before we close.

It's mind-boggling the things that people do.

We had to put our entire collection of DVDs in our office (which is already ultra-cramped), because when we did inventory earlier this year, we had 46 of them missing.

Now tell me why on Earth, when you can borrow a brand new movie completely FREE for an entire WEEK, you have to steal it?!? From a smalltown library with a limited budget no less.

And when you get these dvds back - does it look like someone has gone outside and just rubbed the thing all over the pavement? I always wonder what the hell people do to the DVDs to get them as junked up as the ones I've checked out - some of them won't even play anymore...

46??? that's ridiculous. when i worked at our lib, we had to have all of our multimedia stuff behind lock and key for the same reason. our new library just opened in september, and there's much better security, so it's all out on the floor now, instead of being locked up. i hope it stays that way! i have a ton of respect for everyone who works at a library ... it's practically volunteer work!

Ohhh yes.
They sometimes look like they were used as a substitute for the second slice of bread in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

It's ridiculous how little regard people have for someone else's property. When did we lose respect for others? When did we lose personal accountability? When did we become such uncouth, self-centered, disrespectful lowlifes?

That is so gross...but not surprising as I've seen quite a few mystery substances on dvds I've rented or checked out

And I'd love to give you answers to those questions, but I ask them myself everyday. It really is sad how little regard people seem to have for others...and others' property...but even in stores...the other day I was at Target and these two young boys were looking at DVDs...one knocked a bunch off the shelf...they just laughed, KICKED THEM ARUOND...and left the area...or there was the kid who was throwing a fit and tossing things around the toy aisle..they mom? Completely ignoring him...she didn't even pick the items up or make the brat do it....

It's a sad state and one of the many reasons I hate going out in public anymore.

Yeah, unfortunately we learned the hard way that we can't trust people with the DVDs. What a damn shame.

Ain't that the truth!

Despite my complaints though, I do actually love my job. There are just times when you want to pull your hair out!
