In your initial post, when discussing possible new directions Stevie could take, you said that she's "too conservative to make that kind of jump." So I was commenting that I'm not interested in a 180 degree in change in Stevie's style.

I'm sure I sound like an old-fogey, but when I buy a new Stevie Nicks album, I want consistency and continuity. I don't want something jarring and out of left-field. I don't want to have to listen to the album a couple of dozen times just to "get used to it."

However, what you said in the above quote doesn't sound like what I would consider to be a "jump" -- but more like a reinvigoration of what she's done in the past. Now that is something I'd definitely be on board with -- to listen to her new songs and really have a palpable sense that she's still absolutely in love with singing, writing and recording.
