When I first read this I was a little enraged. I think I felt this way because of Lindsay Lohan trying to get the role, but she is not a bad actress. She is a HORRIBLE singer, but I do love her acting. I think she has a great knack for it. I think this would be very good for Stevie. Maybe the movie will gain her and Fleetwood Mac more recgonition and attention? Maybe all the attention will motivate them to release something? Who know's. Of course this is all speculation.

But I think I would get emotional during the klonopin years!

*giggles* It's so much fun being part of a group who understand a reference as obscure as that....

This isn't going to happen, by the way.
But if it did, I would be absolutely crushed...! Lohan is the absolute LAST person on the list of people I would like to see play Stevie. Last. We all saw what happened with Edge of Seventeen..... She's pretty, young and maybe can sing a little bit, but I think this would do Stevie's popularity with the younger generation more harm than good in the long run when Lohan has been forgotten....

But, as has been pointed out and explained, this isn't going to happen. And if it does, I'm with those people jumping in rivers.

PS: If Stevie did give this the go-ahead, I would never speak to her again _either_.

I remain convinced however that Johnny Depp is the only man for the job.

However, they MUST cast an actor named "Steven" or "Stephen." The gimmick of Lindsay playing Stevie and Steven playing Lindsey is just tooooo tempting to resist!
*gigglesmirk* Brilliant!

That article is hilarious!
But I think the Hohan and Jordan Catalano could pull off Buckingham Nicks. It would be funny to find out if they could anyway.
I vote for Leelee Sobrieski to play Christine and Colin Farrell to play John!
Mick should be played by the Napoleon Dynamite guy.

Speaking of which, finding two people that can recreate even an ounce of what Stevie and Lindsey had going on on stage is going to be one hell of a tough job.

Exactly what I was thinking. You have a perfect set-up, because the California Dreaming story is still a pretty neat one, considering their history and with the Dance reunion you have that dreamy, happy ending that Hollywood people love. They love showing people going through the worst of the worst and coming out with a cherry on top.

Again though, I still wonder what they are going to use as a reference, should a project like this come to fruition. Stevie is going to wait until she's 90 and everyone else is dead to spill anything, Mick only has a lot of disoriented cocaine induced years as reference, the result of which ended up in that ridiculous book. Lindsey is usually not one to tattletale, although lately I have to admit he's getting a little more loose-lipped. Christine is too busy drinking tea in England and probably doesn't want to be bothered with a thing like this. John would rather be sailing, or doing anything else really, than having be sat down and asked about the not so glorious moments of Fleetwood Mac.

Plus, this could be a push for an autobiography, and a possible RRHF induction as a solo artist...I think this movie has alot more positives than negatives.
I'm sure studios have got during the last 10 -15 years various projects regarding a movie about FM or Stevie, that over the years were stopped, there's nothing new in another one. Obviously Lindsay Lohan is trying to use her star power to give to her project a boost, but it won't go anywhere, IMO. To make it work it must have the full support from FM and a 30-50 million budget at least, since the costs for the soundtrack would be astronomical. I see it possible only if a great director comes aboard and right now to work with Lindsay Lohan as a leading actress is a huge risk, since she's highly unreliable on the set.

I'm having a great time picturing you doing Stevie's Angel dance. Or would you leave that up to Paula? Seriously, you guys need to start cracking on this, it's Oscar worthy material for sure.

My advice though: Always brush your teeth before you go out. I'd hate to think what would happen if either of you had garlic bread for dinner.

Is there a rumor going around that I have garlic breath?

I'm paranoid now.

I got it from Sharon. I told you, she spreads nasty rumors. You shouldn't have kicked Jana over to her team. Now you pay the price.
