I had to stop watching the news for a little while this week. I watched Combat Hospital or whatever that documentary was on CNN Presents. This and everything else I'm seeing on the evening news is the grittiest and most honest coverage I can remember since 1972. Keith Olbermann (MSNBC) has been blowing my mind with his commentaries lately. Wolff Blitzer (!) has even said things that make me raise an eyebrow. The White House press corps has started to grow a spine in the form of David Gregory. Someone should beat Tony Snow's ass for the way he's treated Helen Thomas.
My point is, and I do have one and I'm getting to it is that this wedding has been a nice little diversion. As you may have guessed (insert sarcasm) I've been against this war from the very beginning. I've watched a lot of coverage. And every day now it's getting much worse what we're seeing on the tv. Can you imagine what they're not showing us? I have hope that things are going to get better with the recent turn of events in Congress. And I think a lot of people need a little diversion and to see a little beauty. It keeps us going and give us hope.

It can't be natural. And that herky jerky motion the high heels make her walk in doesn't help. My guess is she doesn't eat or is bulimic or something. It's a shame. She could be an attractive woman if she just put on a few more pounds (or would you call them stone?). It amazes me that people who seemingly have the world at their feet have such issues. I think she must suffer from low self esteem.

He did the big public apology to her. I think it was classy of him to invite her and even more classy of her to go. Like I said, if I had the opportunity I would go just to see it.
