Default Good thoughts, please
If you have a minute, send some good thoughts my way. My little bird Banjo is very very sick. I spent most of the weekend at the animal ER with him. Barely slept. We aren't sure what is wrong. He has been too weak to take blood to do tests. He is on cipro and another medication for the things the vet guessed were wrong. He was fine yesterday and today. But now he seems to have taken a turn for the worse. There absolutely nothing I can do. All the ER can do is give him oxygen and heat. I am giving him heat already. He is breathing fine and his heartbeat is strong. I checked it. He doesn't need oxygen. All I can do is wait and hope he makes it through the night. Wish us luck.

Thanks to all.

I gave him his medication and he is still hanging in there.
He's on the ground in his little hospital cage by the heat lamp. Not a good sign that he is sitting down, but at least he responds when I check on him.
Just hoping I can get him back to the vet tomorrow and he is well enough to get a blood test. Man, another night with no sleep. I can barely even think at this point. All I can do is pace and worry. He is just so little and fragile. There is so little I can do for him.
Horrible. This is just horrible.
