I went to see it last night, and it was so. good. It's rare these days that you come across a movie that's unique, funny and fresh, since everything seems to be a copy of everything else. STF is different. Emma and Dustin were great, as usual - I love everything Emma does. She can do no wrong in my eyes. I hope she's nominated for an award for this one.
Will Farrell was actually pretty good!! I was surprised. It's still hard for me to see him as a completely serious actor though, and he did inject some humor into this role. But he didn't go completely overboard. There were some serious LOL moments from everyone. Maggie Gyllenhall... I don't know. She's cute, but there's something about her that just irks me. She was all right. Didn't really win me over or anything like that, but I liked her character. Go see it, that's all I gotta say. |

I really liked it too. It ranks right up there with Anchorman for me.

I just saw this last night and I LOVED IT. I was really surprised- and my boyfriend hadn't even wanted to see it, but he liked it just as much as I did. I thought Will was GREAT.
I loved Maggie in it, but I love her. They made me cry. Something about her and unconventional romances in movies always make me cry. (Thanks, Secretary.) |
