Default anything and everything you wanted to know about the ledge

well...not from me obviously.

anybody have any real quick questions that they've always wanted to know?

like:

why is it named the ledge?? is it from the song? How did that come about??

If you don't have a paypal account, how can you be a supporting member?? can I write a check?? I have really cute "frog" checks.

what is the purpose of of "subscribing" to a thread??

anyone know?

You can't write checks, but you can charge it (or debit it). Just follow the paypal route, and then there will be an option to charge it without using a PayPal account.

Well ya can't beat a dollar a month in my opinion!

Though I completely understand where that is a lot of money to some folks...times are rough - I'm just thankful that I was able to support the Ledge...when I was

oh, I know. And I had to "check" to make sure I was able to if you catch my drift. But all is good.

So...about the naming of the ledge..... This is going to bug me until I find out!!!

Isn't it just named after the song 'The Ledge' which appears on the Tusk album? I am not sure about that - but that's what I always assumed.

Oh

That I couldn't tell ya...maybe it just sounded good as a place? Or maybe erm...gosh maybe Marty and Lisa just like the song?

Ok..I'm of no help in that area - don't know why that song in particular was chosen.

Talking

I only gave $20 one time...wish i could give more cause the Ledge means a lot to us all. I figured they named it the "ledge"...we're all kinda sitting here on the Ledge together. I just get this mental image of all of us lined up like ducks in a row. Someone oughta tell what its really all about, eh?

If you subscribe to threads, it's easy to see which ones you've participated in. You click on your "User CP" (top left of the Ledge menu bar), and all the threads show up in one place, no matter which forum. Also, a little check mark appears in the forum list, so it's easy to scan down the threads if you don't like the CP view.

You can choose in your Options to be notified by email when people respond to subscribed threads - which I don't recommend, unless you want an email each time someone says "Cool!" or the topic drifts to something completely unrelated.
