I agree that Sebastian is a bit of a dick, but man was he nice to look at back in the day.

I saw GNR twice- once before they became really famous at a small club in NY and then again when they were famous at The Ritz in NY. They were really good except Slash was terrible. He sounded awful and made a lot of mistakes. Anyway, Apetite for Destruction was so incredible when it first came out.

I'm glad you had fun- I would have loved to go to that show!

I know. I think it is a fragile instrument. The first hour was great. His second was shaky. He sings all wrong just like Stevie used to. Lots of throaty wailing and screaming which has been way scaled back.

He's a recurring character and I love it. But that maybe isn't his finest moment on TV?

I think they were already here and I missed them.

Excellent that you caught the show Suze! There is a rockin youtube of Axl and Bass performing MyMichelle. If you don't locate, I will post in a few days.
I saw one that sounded bad. But it sounded great when they did it the other nite. And if I were Axl I wouldn't want that man on my stage because he out sang him and all.

So do you definitely recommend seeing GNR? I did see them during the UYI days.
It is Axl and a bunch of guys but they are phenomenal musicians. Dizzy did Angie for his keyboard solo and I loved it.

I always hated SBs ego but I guess I'm more tolerant of that character flaw now. Besides, I think he's been humbled a bit over time. For a glimpse into his life check out "I Married Sebastian Bach" on YouTube.

I've seen Sebastian twice and while his ego is as big as my state, the boy has pipes. He's up there with Rob Halford. And he's so much fun to watch...that boy is HOT!

Sounds like you had a great time!
Nothing like a rock show to make you feel alive....

rbs
He's so hot, man. Even the silly leather vest and pants look great! And I agree about the voice. Holy crap can that boy sing. He was soprano lead in his church choir as a boy. He's been singing all his life.

He has since said he was a stupid kid and supposedly donated 12k to an AIDS charity in 2000. But I am still pissed off. More than one guy I met in those days thought he was cool, agreed with it, and went forward, doing God knows what.
A-hole. I'm starting to remember why I wasn't so nuts about him back in the day. The music yeah but him no. He started his career when he was 19 so he really was a kid. Still, that is so wrong.
