Wink SYW promo trailer on Very Best Of...

Hey guys,

Remember when the Very Best of Fleetwood Mac came out in late 2002 and it had the "trailer" movie for Say You Will on disc 1?

Well, you know the part right after Lindsey is talking in the beginning about how Mick and he have been "spending a lot of time in the studio together"...then it shows LB, Mick and John kicking into this really cool sound song. Lindsey's doing this weird flangey thing on his Rick Turner acoustic...Does anyone know what song this is? What is ever released anywhere?

I believe you are talking about "Love Minus Zero" They performed it at the 2001 Arizona Heart Benefit concert.

Hmm...maybe, but i highly doubt it. The album version of Love Minus Zero sounded totally different than that. it sounds like something else to me.

I just dont believe that. Are we talking about the same clip? It shows Lindsey in the studio riffing, then it pans over to Mick, then to John on bass and back to Lindsey....then you see some dolphins in the water and then Lindsey says "Where is everybody?!" That song theyre jamming on sounds nothing like Love Minus Zero, at least the version that was on the SYW record.

It is NOT Love Minus Zero/No Limit. I've just uploaded the entire promo clip to Sendspace so you can check it out yourselves, it's right at the beginning.

I guess it's possible that Lindsey will resurrect the riff idea later again though. You never know with this man.

Thanks faceofG...i knew it wasnt the same song. Whatever it was, it was VERY cool sounding. Hearing that got me really excited for the new album before it came out.

The songs sounds familiar. I don't think it's Love Minus Zero. If you listen to Dylan's original version of it and FM's version of it, it sounds nothing like what Lindsey is playing there. Whatever he is palying there is really nice. Maybe we'll get it on the second "rock" album that's to come out next year.

Yeah that would be great. I doubt John would know what the song is unless he heard it. It sounded really cool from that clip though. I cant believe no one knows what song this is! Must be one of Lindsey's rare cuts maybe for his next record?
