I miss Dunkin Donuts (I'm originally from New York). It's Krispy Kreme down here. We *do* need a vomit smiley.

I'd rather eat **** than Krispy Kreme. "Oy, fetch!", to quote Josh.

These two are our favourites. Swiss Chalet is very good here in Canada and is probably the most popular restaurant here. And no, Canadian bacon is not on the menu

I went to one in Austin one time. OMG, the glaze! I managed to eat one donut and half of a second one before I was ready to throw up and we had to leave. There was so much sugar in those things, I'm surprised I didn't try to kill the mayor or something. People feed this **** to their children and then scratch their heads when they take guns to school and shoot up their classmates!? The mind boggles...

I like:

Round Table Pizza
Subway
Taco Bell
Mel's Diner
IHOP

I hate:

Chili's
Chevy's
Applebees

My favorite restaurants in town are all privately owned. I only eat at (from) the first three on my list because two are right by my office and the other delivers. The other two are open 24 hours and my friends and I are often out at all hours of the night.

I went to a Soup Plantation when I was in Cali. It was really good, I wish there was one up here.

I'm very much over Krispy Kreme - we only had 2 in town, and they've opened over the last 3 or 4 years. Actually, one of them just closed. Dunkin used to be all over the place, then we were down to 1. But they just opened up a new one near the university. I much prefer Tim Horton's over any of the others, but there aren't any outside of Canada & NY (I don't think.)

Subs? Subway all the way. Quizno's is way overpriced & not very good. Wegman's (our "upscale" grocery store) makes the best subs.

Buffets? Used to love Ponderosa as a kid, but I haven't been there in years. Country Buffet is appalling, the food is so unhealthy & salted, yet so flavorless & bland. I don't want to waste my calories & money there.

The food always looks/tastes fresh at my local Subway. Not that I care what the meat looks like as long as the veggies are good!

Veggie Delite with extra cheese and all the veggies please!

Also, there is this place/chain called Moe's here and on Monday, $5.40 gets you a HUGE and loaded burrito, chips and four diff. salsa's, and a drink. You cannot beat that with a stick

Of course, the one I go to is next to the gym - so, it's off the stairmaster and directly to a burrito
