So, I went to grab a screenshot from iTunes (latest v7.2), with my iPod plugged in - I was going to post a pic in that itunes help thread - and when I opened Photoshop, everything started shutting down. Like, my entire computer. I restarted, let it do its disk check, and then tried again. PS opened fine, and I was able to open iTunes and plug my pod in. Everything was working smoothly.
But, as soon as I unplugged it, my comp started shutting down again. What the hell is this? Anyone know? I don't think it's spyware or a virus, since I always run a couple of checks before I do anything, and all of the scans today came up clean. I'm running a scan now just to be safe. Has this happened to anyone at all...??? Is it some insane iTunes glitch? It worked fine last night. I restored my ipod to it's original settings by accident yesterday, and lost all of my music on there, but it the comp says it (the ipod v. itself) is up to date, so I don't think it's that. I'm stumped. ![]() Last edited by goldustsongbird; 11-07-2006 at 07:13 PM.. |

I hate this about iTunes. and this is exactly why I don't download each and every update...there's always something cranky about it. I just backed up all my music, pictures and docs last night. you may want to do the same if you aren't already.
