I really do agree. It reminds me of the book "The Satan Seller" in which it was supposed to be a real life account of a satan high-priest who found God. Thousands of people believed it, and joined his cult - it was later found that everything in his book was a big fat lie

I am predicting that in two years, this guy will announce himself "free of homosexuality" through prayer and faith in God. And then Christians will use him as an example of how people can be straight if they just choose to be.

Very real possibility - Fresh Air just did a whole show on the Christian ex-gay movement...

And I actually have a friend from high school (who I still keep in contact with) who identifies himself as an ex-gay. He swears that he's "free of homosexuality" I guess only time will tell
