Lindsey: Stevie.. I was thinking w...

Stevie: NO, we are NOT adding more songs. "Sisters of the moon" is NOT happening, Lindsey.

Lindsey: Could we atleast make a final album, for the kids! Just a few songs. 10 tracks?

Stevie: No. Karen tell Lindsey that we can't!!!!

This was funny!!! And I was thinking the same about the setlist....... hopefully some of Stevie's people read the boards and will try to please the fans in some new songs for the setlist

Or, hopefully Stevie's people read this board and have taken note that she received nothing but huge praise for her performances at the TP shows this year (and not one single complaint) and will encourage her to keep doing stuff that makes her happy and inspires her to give her best performances in years.

Yep that too I guess you could take my post as a complaint about the set list but seriously I don't think I have ever complained too badly about it and it wasnt meant to be taken that way. I just thought the post was kind of funny. I think I'm more in the I don't care what they sing--I'll be there no matter what--group! I know they have to play the more popular songs for the casual fans--I'm just hoping they add a couple of surprises to please the hardcore fans as well. Although sometimes I think no matter what there will be someone complaining!! ha ha Just the way it is I guess!! And the Tom shows--pure joy!! Wish I could have attended more than 1--but I guess I should be grateful because I know others couldn't attend any of the shows.

"They were saying next time we tour, we're going to move the mikes closer together and you're going to look in Stevie's eyes. "

All the shippers just came in their pants and I harfed up my muesli.

I know. But, I think the shippers realize the stuff onstage is mostly an act in that it is the same rote performance each time. I think they are FAR more concerned with the backstage, after hour, and off of the road antics that get reported Though, I do readily admit, they do get off on the Landslide hug lasting a second longer, which to me is silly. But, who am I to keep them down if they get off on that

That's exactly what I was thinking. Picture it. Lindsey standing in her house with those dogs barking and growling at him while looking over the set list...90% of the songs being Stevie's trademarks.

Undoing the laces, I agree with pretty much all your points.

These two people are performers but they are not actors. They go through certain rote acts but I think the emotion is genuine. You've only got to see the video of Say goodbye on youtube to see that.

I didn't take it that way at all. I complain about the set list all the time. I was just basically saying that I'd rather Stevie not even bother with FM anymore and just do the stuff that clearly makes her happy.

I think it's funny also, but I don't think it happened. At least not how Lindsey is portraying it. I do not picture Stevie calling some meeting where she handed LB a piece of paper with a set list. I think Lindsey is just down on FM right now, probably because he is rightfully enjoying his solo stuff right now, and is taking yet another opportunity to diss Stevie.

Ha...I gotta stick up for Lindsey here and say I can absolutely picture this happening, him trying to please everybody, all at once. Thats what Librans do best, try to balance things out.

yeah I agree. I don't see Stevie being that presumptious (sp?) - she knows her place in the band and I don't think handing a set list to Lindsey falls into her line of duties. maybe she handed him some songs to think about...but not a setlist. like Stevie's going to tell Liddy which of his songs they are going to perform?
