I think if she does do a farewell...it'll be a 5-10 year ordeal like Cher.
Speaking of farewells...did you hear about Bob Barker retiring from Price is Right? Effective 07/07/07 |

I think it's really hard to tell with her. I'm going to just say no because the Mac is touring in '08 and Mama Nicks will be 60 then. I mean, sure she's Stevie Nicks, but there's a certain point where it's just been enough. But, then again, who am I to say she'll be too old? Maybe she'll never stop.
Let's hope. ![]() |

unless she does a few shows in really small places (like at Largo in LA),
i can't think of anything less interesting. if there are still people out there who get excited when she rolls out yet another tired version of Rhiannon, then i hope she does. but for me, i'm content with another FM tour and more Lindsey solo projects. i would love to see Lindsey tour with just John and Mick. that would be fun. |

I'm sure she is still getting sh*tloads of royalties from "Rumours," but Mama also has many mouths to feed as well as a certain lifestyle to maintain. |

It would be horrifically dissappointing to me if she didn't put out some songs about the loss of her beloved father. I mean, she wrote one about growing up and leaving home... Beautiful Child... right? This worries me... why would she want to seal that part of herself off from her fans and not produce a few beautiful songs behind it. She could put them with some more of the old ones we've been waiting to hear. (TISL II, whateve) She could do a short Bella Donna type tour behind it. We'd fly in from everywhere just to see her in New Jersey or something. Right?
Actually, I'm already dissappointed because I thought she'd have been writing her brains out behind the loss of her father. And if she has been and she just doesn't want to share them and all.. well, then she's not the person I thought she was. 'Cmon Stevie... don't let us down now! That would leave me to also believe she's at home eating Gino's Pizza Rolls and watching AMC. Maybe she's back on Prozac. (love ya Stevie) |

According to ShangrilaTroubl on the LB thread, Taku said Stevie's touring solo next year. Which is great, but I hope to god it's something different like smaller theaters and not just another shed tour.
