I swear, I live FIVE minutes from Evansville Indiana, and I go across the bridge and EVERYONE is like.."you're from Kentucky, aren't you?" Is there THAT much of a difference from 5 minutes away? I think mine is a little more prominent though .

oh FO SHO!!!

(I have to throw in the southern gangsta accent!! )

it is painfully southern. Not "New Orleans" southern. But, "can I get you a glass of iced tea and some apple pie" southern.

Thankfully I didn't get the "Fargo" accent that a lot of upper midwestern peeps have. Ya, you betcha.

I'm not sure that I'm familiar with that. But, I don't think I've really been in the upper midwest, unless you consider Indiana to be there....

Have you ever seen "Fargo"? The people in that movie nail the accent. And no, Indiana doesn't count. I'm talking MN, WI, the Dakotas, and Iowa.
