The only Canadians that are in it are, to my knowledge, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. No Guess Who/Bachman, no Rush, no Gordon Lightfoot (Canada's Bob Dylan). Don't get me wrong, Neil and Joni are treasures, but the others certainly are worthy.

Gram Parsons and Clarence White got the Bob Welch treatment when the Byrds were inducted, and they, IMO, are two of the most important figures in countrified pop music. Granted, Gram was only in the Byrds for less time than Dave Walker was in Fleetwood Mac, he did record what has become one of the more significant albums in rock history.

Grand Funk's not in there, and they were pioneers in trashing hotels, a proud rock tradition every guy who ever strapped on a guitar thought about for at least three seconds.

The Hall is a sham.

The Stooges, Patti, Grandmaster Flash, and the Ronettes better get in. Or I might have to cause a riot.

I bet they won't, though. The rock n roll hall of **** rarely gets it right anyway.

Oh well, I looked at the list of those inducted into the Hall and I still think it is a big-joke (It took until 2004 to induct George Harrison? Need I say more about how much a joke it is?)
Agreed!
