Default Led Zeppelin

My other bands thread got me thinkin again, (a real shoock I know ) there are probably obvious reasons why this doesnt happen, but I cant figure out why these guys dont reunite? 3 of the original 4 are still there, and Jason could carry on the Bonham tradition on the drums. I did hear some whisperings that something might happen about a year ago, but that seemed to go nowhere.. Also, Page and Plant have done albums together, so tehre doesnt appear to be a big rift between those 2. God knows how much money they could make!!!! It would probably rival Barbara Streisand's prices.

I had the impression JP Jones was out of favour with the other two, although I can't quote anything specific on that.

You know, I heard something about that once. But as far as I'm concerned while theyre all still able, they should put their differences aside and fatten their wallets.

Someone who know more than me could answer this. Is Jason anywhere near as good as his dad?

I wouldn't know, as I've never really listened to his band. If I had to guess though, I would bet he isn't.

Maybe. I watched him when he was on "Supergroup" with Nugent, Sebastian Bach, etc. It wasn't anything special IMO.

I just think it would be a shame if they didnt do somthing together again as long as they're able.

Good question. I dont think Page or Plant would have a problem. I dont know about John Paul Jones though. This is one concert I'd consider paying upwards of $300 for a ticket to see.

he is not. Jason is touring with Foreigner at this time.

I don't see a Led Zep reunion in my lifetime, sorry folks...Don't hold yer breath on it.

Now you'd be a good person to ask about this. Why? I know Page and PLant get along? is it reall John Paul Jones that's the problem?

Page & Plant dont get along...Pagey wants a reunion, Plant does not want to "revisit the past and tarnish it in the present".

JPJ is staying out of it, he has fallen out of favor in the eyes of Pagey (Originally he was to be the bassist for the Page & Plant tour years back, but something behind the scenes changed that outcome.)
