I stayed at the Riv in 2002. It's pretty nice, but I thought they were thinking of tearing that one down too. It's a bit far down the strip & it's small, but the rooms are clean.

Rickypt - if it's between IP & Bally's, go Bally's. It's quite nice there.

Oh, I was thinking of Riviera when we talked about the Sahara earlier in the thread. I've stayed at Riviera, that's the one up the strip by Circus Circus, right?

Hospitality industry professional, meaning a hotel/restaurant management school. I am a "hospitality major" at college right now (I hope to own my own restaurant/event planning company one day), so I think this is kind of cool...

I guess it's at Hotel/Restaurant Management School where they teach you where to locate the restrooms (in the casino), the escalators (the casino), and the only means of egress (through the casino). I'm sure it's an honest career, but those scheisters in Vegas really know how to squeeze maximum coin out of their unwitting patrons.

I already requested a week off in Jan or Feb. in case LB adds more dates. I would rather do a handful of his shows than one 90 minute max gig in Vegas. I am sure Stevie will do some other things this spring and esp. next summer so I am up for seeing her more than once.... I loved Vegas though....
