Taku had said this was a possible benefit show. So maybe some of the details are still up in the air. In the past, Ticketmaster has cancelled sales after they started.

On Edit: I just find it strange that if it was only listed today, that no notice was given before tickets went on sale. Not even a day or two. Does Ticketmaster ever list events and then have the tickets go on sale that same day? I don't think they do..

I get email updates whenever she is posted on the schedule. It only just came up today. I would have posted sooner had I known.

Oh my! This is so out of the blue! I am going to try and "make it work", as Tim Gunn would say, and start organizing a little trip tomorrow. I haven't seen Stevie in concert in well over a year, so I deserve it.

I have to admit though, I am starting to get really scared of flying. Maybe I could make it a road trip...

I am only pulling up seats in the "Physically Disabled" section. Does that really matter? It won't disable me from seeing the show, will it?

I just called the Caesars' Box Office. The lady I spoke with said yes, Stevie will definitely be there and then she gave me prices. I mentioned that there was nothing on their website about it, but she didn't have a comment about that. She just was really sure that Stevie will be there for sure.

YAY!!!!

Maybe he's still waiting for official confirmation of the show that has already gone on sale.

I'm thinking of staying at Bally's or Imperial Palace. Bally's is $159 and IP is $90. Both are close to Caesar's; Bally's looks a little nicer than IP. Anyone ever stay at Bally's?

Something tells me that this show was originally meant to be a private benefit and then at the eleventh hour was changed to a public event. Looking at the NicksFix home page, its clear that something is brewing with The Stevie Nicks Soldier's Angel Foundation. I guess we can assume this benefit concert has something to do with that?

Regardless, to announce an event and have tickets go on sale a few hours later is just ridiculous. They could have at least given the fans a day's notice and had them go on sale today. It'll be very interesting to see the NicksFix statement about all this.

Glad to hear it's official, though

Are you going?

Jana's website says she has a "private party" and then the public benefit. Since the concert is at 10 pm, I wonder if there's another thing going on with Stevie earlier in the evening (like a party with a couple of songs for rich people). Then, like you said, they decided at last minute to do a bigger show for the public.

I hope the benefit is for her soldier foundation; that is a charity I would like to contribute towards.
