I do agree that seeing her in any other color than black would have been wonderful, but maybe Stevie didn't want to stand out even more than she does already with her being a celeb and all. Just my take on it. I guess she wanted to dress down a bit.

ITA, that's why I mentioned a no-go on her more elaborate outfits.

I don't mean stage clothes, it just would have been nice to see her in another color. Shoot, at this point I'd be thrilled with navy blue or chocolate brown.

I doubt she'd stand out in that same outfit in another color.

I don't mind her always in black either and think the outfits okay. Yes I would love her to mix it up a bit, but I think she lives by the rule that black is supposedly slimming. She should have worn the red snake print stretch pants. Those are hot. And I can't believe they charge people to go to class reunions much less make you shell out $100. F*ck that ****. I just skipped my 25th last weekend.
But I think its sweet she showed up and gave everybody a treat...unless she just showed up to rub it in their faces - you know "oh you're a doctor? Hmm that's wonderful. Oh you're a lawyer? Ooh, that's impressive...I'M A MILLIONAIRE, A ROCK AND ROLL ICON AND A LIVING LEGEND, EAT ME!"

I bet they would have all been bashing her if she hadn't gone.

Yeah, I don't really understand why she even went if she didn't graduate from this school. This thread title is misleading.

She does look very good for her age though. In defense of her wearing black, I've gone to my high school reunions (not going to say how many though

), & I always wear black. My reasoning is the you should wear black at night. Don't ask me why, but even when I go to concerts, I have to have some black on. I don't really care if it's a slimming color or not (as I'm not overweight & neither is Stevie). This is just my reasoning.

I've never paid $100 for dinner & dancing. I think the most I've paid is maybe $40 to $50 & that was for me & my husband.

I would bet the word got around that she was coming. For my 25th class reunion last week (which I skipped), registration was required and you had to RSVP for all the festivities. She must have had to do something similar other than buy a ticket at the door.
