Rodeo or Rodeo?

[ontheEdgeof17]

Some say "Rodeo" (Ro-dey-oh)....like the famous street

....some say "Rodeo" (Row-de-o)....like a horse thingie

Which is it?

[carrie721]

i wish it were yee-haw, because that'd be so friggin' honkytonk, but i think it's roh-day-ohhhhhh.

[Peestie]

Famous street. I don't think Lindsey is quite at the stage to take his songs lightly enough for it to be yee-haaw lol

[bikerchic]

It is so Ro-deeee-oooo, like the horse thingy Now I'm saying it "sounds" like that but I'm sure he "means" the street

[mylittledemon]

it's both. But the song is referring to the street. I have a hard time, because I want to instinctly say it as if its a YEE-HAW thing.

[face of glass]

It's all about a street, just like Juniper.

[natesummers]

I've always sung/said it Ro-Day-Oh, as in Rodeo Drive.

[Kelly]

At the Boston show he said the song was about "Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive and how you cannot just 'window shop'".

What else did he say about the song..? :-)

[BlueGrass]

He did say it was about window shopping on Rodeo drive, but the song could also take on the meaning of a rodeo because of the old western influenced instrumental. That is why I think this song is so great.

I thought it was Rodeo as in "yee-haw" until about a month ago someone told me it was as in "drive". who knows. I say RO-DAY-O now because it sounds cooler and more intelligent!!
