I agree about the vocals on Under the Skin.

I've heard excerpts of the songs on iTunes and I know that the vocals would drive me mad over a whole album.

I'll have another listen though and maybe buy one or two.

Lindsey all the way. I don't care for ITM, though I do love Christine. UTS, however, is a masterpiece. It's gorgeous, totally in love with it.

Well, there's an obvious choice that is conspicuous by its absence:

"I like them BOTH; and, don't prefer one over the other".

That would be what I'd vote, IF it was an option. With the choices as is, I abstain from voting because none of the three responses covers my feelings about it.

Some very interesting responses so far. It's kinda like White Castle, either you love it or you hate it!

i voted for ITM. there are elements of UTS that i like very much, but as a whole, i would only listen to this album if i were in a certain mood. for me ITM is an any time, any where kind of thing. even though i haven't listened to UTS nearly as much as ITM, in the long run, i still think ITM be a more frequently play on my ipod.

HAHA - I voted "Rubbish. Where is the new Stevie CD?". Christine's solo efforts are always so same-ey they just sound like the rest of her fleetwood mac stuff. Althought I would've loved to have seen some ITM songs on SYW. Lindsey, although different to mac, is off his bloody head. Law and Order was just WTF?, Go Insane was more commercial but overall pretty crap. OOTC was better but still, I didn't like it. I am not a fan of Lindsey solo. The new album, better songs but his voice is ****ed. STEVIE ALL THE WAY!

I voted for the new Stevie CD, not because I think the others are rubbish ( I havent really listened to ITM = I should buy it though if it is still available ) I just really want new Stevie music. I am planning on getting UTS next time I go to Barnes and Noble. I've heard most of it online and even though the vocals take some getting used to I think it is my favorite Lindsey solo besides GOS

Funny, that's exactly what I thought of ITM...

until I stopped trying and accepted the fact that it's mediocre at best and that repeated listenings aren't going to improve it.

I still haven't got ITM so I can't vote, but I find it highly unlikely that I would like it more. I always like Lindsey's songs the most on all the Mac albums and his solo albums are great IMO. UTS is joint favourite with OOTC. Law and Order didn't grab me at first, but that was because I bought it with loads of other albums and didn't listen to it on its own, only a song here and there.

So no vote from me.

exactly at some point you just say, "this does nothing for me" and that's that.... sort of like my last relationship...
