finally finished don't get too comfortable. an enjoyable read; rakoff's strength is finding the most astute, concise (and often hilarious) descriptions for those situations you thought defied verbal expression.

just started dress your family in corduroy and denim by david sedaris.

STILL reading Mary Called Magdalene - it's really long, and so far somewhat strange.
She is his sister, and she shows up in some of his stories.

"Faithfull" by Marianne Faithfull

"Nico: The End" by James Young

& I'm attempting to finish "Valley of the Dolls" after having misplaced my copy for a while. Noticing a pattern?

I was summoned for Jury Duty (but I wasnt chosen) so I brought a book to while away the time: Smitten, a cute little piece of romantic fluff. I finished it up when I got back home...

I'm STILL reading Mary Called Magdalene

Disclaimer: I really like to take my time with books and savor them...rarely do I burn through one quickly because then I'm sad that's it's over....it just happens that this is a really long book....

-on a side note, anyone who was interested in the johnny gosch thread awhile back, this is the book to read, it has tons & tons of documented stuff in this book & the kidnapping of johnny gosch was part of this book, it was very disturbing since i live where all of this happened & they say is still going on, but it was an intriguing read i couldn't put it down~ there is an updated 2005-2006 version out there i got it at amazon cheap~

also reading "the black dahlia" by james ellroy~
I am intruiged....got to read that...
