It's true, I only got all dolled-up in hopes of scoring some of the elusive Conshokocken, and it was well worth it. Now I have returned to my drear life, where I walk around in a slip holding my glass of bourbon, and dreaming of Conshohockens gone by.

I have SO much I want to add here, and already so much time has gone by
=0( Has it been close to 2 weeks already? ugh! I have pics of us all, good memories (slowly fading, as it's hard for me to recall what I did yesterday) and can't say enough wonderful things about the Ledgies I met, and those I knew already!!!! It was a blast to meet up at Spats, even if for a short time. Wish I had been able to spend more time w/ ya'll. Anyway, I won't hijack this thread, cause it's a good one, and surely mine won't be quite as amusing, but rest assure, I have some stuff coming to a Ledge near you.

We NEED a pic of that!
The slip and highball combo has shown up in several films, I believe, and Liz is in most of them.
Slips with silk ribbon straps are a garment of the pastI keep seeing those body shapers, now, which are really more like surgical tubing, meant to shape: a girdle for the entire body.
Oh, and thanks for the flattery, Strand, I get all-puffed up and proud every time!
