Default Buffalo New York Hammered with 2 feet of snow
Unbelieveable. Biggest snow there this early ever! 400,000 people out of power. 100 miles on either side of Buffalo of the NYstate Thruway closed. Unreal!!!

Paula lives right in the center of this storm. They could be without power for as long as a week

Me, too. She hasn't posted, though, which is a bit unusual.
I'm sure she's prepared, it's butt cold there every year and they always get snow.
Wait, maybe I'll just call her...

I think she lives in the township of Cheektowaga, which is just a few miles east of Buffalo (I think).

Paula is fine - her basement will flood because the snow will melt too fast and her pump is electric so it can't be used - something like that - so she's been bailing it out. A tree in her yard fell, but missed her window by a foot. They have food and beer and the gas fireplace in their rec room is working, so they will huddle by that, eat, drink beer, and play cards or something. She will get her exercise by bailing out the water.

She wanted me to tell Teresa not to worry, everything should be fine next week for Cleveland.

The power people told them to expect power on Monday.
