Well, as horrible as it is to say this, the Yankees had it coming to them.

GO OAKLAND! I love you guys!

Tell y'all what, Watch out for the Tigers, I think they can beat the A's. I like the A's, but I am picking the Tigers to win the ALCS.

I think so too. I like Jim Leyland, who should have been the Phillies manager & I like Placido Polanco, who used to play for the Phillies. And, the best thing is that they beat the Yankees. I have nothing at all against Oakland, but I'll root for anyone who can beat the Yankees.

Exclamation Wth???

The New York Daily News is reporting that Yanks manager Joe Torre is expected to be fired today and replaced by Lou Piniella??? Sorry, but firing Torre for the Yanks collapse is a effing joke.

How about firing Pay-Rod instead (Who was 1 for 14 in series against the Tigers)??!!!

I read this morning they may try to trade him, although with his contract I'm not sure that's possible.

They arent commenting about Torre yet. I personally don't care what they do.

As for A-Rod, he did say that if the Yankees were absolutely desperate to get rid of him then he would consider waiving the no-trade clause. I dunno...I just dont like the guy....

If you'll give us Jason Schmidt for him, then by all means, take him.

Ok so its down to A's/Tigers and Mets/Cardinals. Here's how I see things going from here:

A's/Tigers: I read today that the A's pitching is in a bit of disarray Seems that they're not sure whos going to start game 1 even. I look for the TIgers to win this series 4-3.

Mets/Cardinals: I dont know quite what to make of this one. Both of these teams have faced quite a bit of adversity the last few weeks. The Cardinals haveing barely backed in, and the Mets pitching in shambles. Somehow they both managed to advance. I jsut think the Mets offense will be too much. Mets 4-2.

Crap. I was wondering why the massive amounts of A's crowds on BART tonight weren't cheeringly drunkenly rambunctious.
