I always thought I Don't Want To Know would be an excellent opener for a Fleetwood Mac show.

I also love the way they both sing the whole song together. Two voices made to sing together. And I think Silver Springs became much more powerful the way it came out during The Dance. The blistering stares from Stevie to Lindsey...20 years later and she's still pissed as hell. That's beautiful. |

What's somewhat disconcerting is how Lindsey's current production methods further deludes those harmonies. Sometimes a lot of his background vocals are so highly layered and processed that there are no discernable individual voices. Much of it sounds too generic for me.

Silver Springs would have been a better choice. the song is good..but more of a "filler" song to me!

This was the song that turned me into a Mac fan. I fell in love with their harmonies and upbeat vocals. And I think John does some awesome base work...especially when he comes in at the beginning and plays along w/ Lindsay's guitar.

speaking of songs that clap
too much time on my hands-styx and take the money and run-steve miller band back on topic. Man, I was listening to this song ALL the TIME awhile back and now I haven't listened to it in awhile. All of my FM cd's I can put in my comp and put them on my ipod except rumours It's weird. My comp won't even acknowledge it. I have all the other songs because I had them on other cds...except IDWTK ![]() |

I absolutely love this song. I love playing it on the piano, and I love hearing it. It is a great song.

Exactly. Stevie and Lindsey should have sang more two part harmonies. Frozen Love and IDWTK were great examples of how wonderful they sounded together.

Have you tried to give Pre-Rumours lineups a chance? When I first became a fan I didn't know much about the previous lineups but I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to it. There was some good stuff back then and it's a shame some of those lineups do not get the credit they deserve because people immediately shut the door on it because Lindsey or Stevie weren't in the band.
