Thumbs down Black clouds are following me

You know, I know it must seem to all of you that nothing good ever happens to me, it does, but what a miserable year its been. The latest:

I'm at home Monday and I get a call from Derek's work saying that he'd collapsed and was being taken to the hospital. I get there in literally 30 seconds and find him strapped to the gurney in the ER convulsing. I seriously thought he was having a heart attack or something serious like that. After a couple hours and some tests the doc's determined that he had a bad reaction to a new med and immideately took him off it. He's ok now, but jeez! Oh and then yesterday I'm walking the dog and I tripped and fell and split a nail on my foot. I'm in some serious pain right now, and thank god I still have 2 weeks to recover before the Lindsey shows I'm going to. UGH UGH UGH!!! Now to end things on a brighter note, my friend is taking me to see the Scissor Sisters on Saturday night at a club in Minneapolis. ((((SIGH)))) This F***IN year cant end soon enough!

Awwr I'm sorry dude. At least you get to see Scissor Sisters! Try and meet Ana Matronic for me!

I guess you can add the Twins to your list of aches and pains too.

To quote the Sisters of the Scissor, "It can't come quickly enough."

Sorry to hear all of this bad news going on with you. But, the Scissor Sisters put one hell of a show. It's all kinds of gay, with strobes and glitz and enough glitter to choke a pixie. You will have fun!

No, not this time. They were sold out by the time I got around to buying a ticket. I got to see them in '05 when they played at the Quest, so I'm not too heartbroken over it.

Well to throw a good old cliche' your way: When it rains it pours. Sorry for your troubles - but things will look up eventually...here's another cliche for ya: That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger....

Wow I'm full of 'em today - but seriously just take care of yourself and don't get too down about your bad luck run

Speaking of the glass being half full, at least I didnt get tickets to the first few shows this week. I dont know if I'd be able to go if I had done that,.

the Children of Bodom lyrical take of it: "That which doesn't kill you only pisses you off"

You're not alone, I feel your pain... honestly, I do. That's really scarey about the drug reaction. It's good to have something positive to look forward to. Hopefully you will enjoy it a lot and take your mind off of things for an hour or two. I got a $50 gift card in the mail today for a neat little italian restaurant I've been wanting to try. Although right now I can't think of one person I'd like to spend it with. And Lindsey's new album is a good thing too. Hang in there!
