Shut Us Down Video Plus Unheard Instrumental

nichora · #1 10-04-2006, 05:57 AM

Thankfully no Elizabethtown footage!! Just Lindsey and his guitar!

Not only is the instrumental intact, there are 8 extra bars of instrumental before the familiar elizabethtown instrumental kicks in.

The roughness of all three videos makes me think these have been made primarily for this documentary that's been talked about.

WOW! That was fantastic... Thanks for posting the links! The extended version should have been on the cd.

Great! How did you manage to find this? Not via google, right? The Reprise website doesn't even list him as artist. So how did you get this?
Thank you for posting.

Thanks so much for posting. This one might be my favorite video...I love Lindsey with just his guitar. I like how looks like he is singing to someone..

This seems like it might all be documentary footage..all three videos were similar. I cannot wait to see the whole documentary. I hope it is mostly him in the studio.

Damnit, I cried.

Thanks so much for posting that!!!! Wow, now we have seen, "Show You How," "It Was You," and "Shut Us Down" videos this week. All but "Show You How" seem to have appeared out of the great blue yonder.

No matter how they got here; I'm so glad that they did. I'm just loving life right now.....lots and lots of Lindsey. It is just terrific!

bikerchic · #8 10-04-2006, 09:27 AM

Thanks for that. I love the close up of him playing his guitar. The man is brilliant! I love the song too.

I honestly could watch that guy play an acoustic all day. Absolutely love this! Possibly my favourite video of Lindsey playing.

estranged4life · #11 10-04-2006, 10:48 AM

wouldnt play correctly for me, But I am sure someone will have these videos in the near future for trade via recordable DVD.

mondaymornin1 · #12 10-04-2006, 10:54 AM

Arggghhh!!!! Stupid, stupid work!!! Can't get this to play here. Guess I'll have to be patient and watch it tonight at home.

This is great, though. Lindsey overdose, big time!

Thanks so much for posting!

Gazza · #13 10-04-2006, 10:55 AM

I don't think I'll ever get over the disappointment of him leaving that instrumental part off of the album.

He better play it when he does this song live.

xhector · #14 10-04-2006, 11:00 AM

Bravo!! clapclapclapclap

It's impressive how he can play these days. And the depth of the music. I'm loving all this.

That's a great eight bars! Should've been on the album like this for sure.
