Stevie as Jazz/Blues Torch Singer

[dontlookdown]

After hearing Stevie's voice at the Hollywood Bowl the other night and after
listening to "At Last" again recently, I realized that her voice is really well suited for jazz and torch song singing.

Wouldn't it be cool if she recorded some tracks in this style?

She seems to have such incredible control as a jazz or blues singer and I bet she would
do a project like this with renewed enthusiasm.

I know countless other singers have done this before, but with the right producers and really genius song selections, it could be really spectacular.

And think of the tour that could follow.
On a related note - are there any recordings of "When Sunny Gets Blue" from the Stormy Weather show? I'd love to hear it.
