I have absolutely no will power. I really admire those of you that do. I went and listened to all of the songs they have posted and now I feel like I have opened up my Christmas present, taken it out, played with it for a few days and then wrapped it back up, before my Mom catches me!!!!

( I did however like what I heard!!)

I FINALLY got it to work. I liked most of the songs, but some I just didn't care for at all !!

I guess that I can look forward to the more "rockin" cd next year, that's what I'm more into anyways!

UtS has to be the most beautiful song he has ever written. The lyrics are stunning..
"cry me a river of new dreams".....and "I'll be your shepherd"....friggin amazing stuff.

I love how he left the Landslide lines in TftS. Beautiful.

I could do without the vocal whispering and I really am not crazy about Not Too Late, but I love UST.

same. uts sounds like the lindsey i was waiting for. thank god.

on edit: i feel like it would have been even better if he used the echo only on the chorus. it would have added another element as opposed to using it throughout the course of the entire song.

try for the sun is much more crisp and clean than the version we have. i do miss the vocal manipulation on the gift of screws version on "i dare anyone to say anyone to say we were too young" -- i haven't listened to shut us down yet but yes, try for the sun has had an overhaul.

i'm holding back. i'm gonna stick it out and wait for the album. i've only heard a few seconds of the clips on lb.com before turning them off. it really is killing me.

Listen to the end of Flying Down Juniper with headphones on. A few seconds after he sings the last "let's gooo", you can hear a childs voice say "come here..Daddyyyyy". It is plain as day and so cool! I love when he does random stuff like that. Its sort of like the childrens voices in SGCYM but not exactly, its on child that sounds like he is talking to Lindsey.
