yeah, she's a girl. they all are. she had just had a bath in that vid, that's why she was getting a treat. i have another one taken right after she got out of the bath, and she just walks around shimmying and shaking the water off. very cute.

I concur - I love when cats go after stuff like that...I wish I could have one.

Clancy just watches me throw things - then looks at me to see what happens next. The one time I tried to play fetch with a stick,I lifted it to throw it and she cowered - and I felt awful...so we stuck with a ball - which she won't chase

Your dogs are cute. The blind one is one of my favorite types. Some kind of...herd dog. Tell me, is blind dog really smart? That is so cool you have three dogs! That would basically fill my entire appt.

Yes, my cat catches way better than anyone. i didn't go into that whole thing about professional teams scouting him for nothing. Just wait until someday when I get a really good video. Which he does a lot, but I can't throw and video at the same time, like I said.

geez, poor clancy!! that's the hard part about adopting an adult dog ... you really don't know what happened to them before you got them. yeah, if i throw a ball for sadie, she just stares at me. well, obviously she does now, since she can't see the ball.

but she did it before she went blind, too.

Anyway - it's so weird to hear your voice in that video...since I've only ever seen you on here....of course, my voice in my videos is my "talking to animals" voice...I don't actually talk that high-pitched...:\

we think blind dog (sadie) is some kind of herding dog because of how she follows at our heels. but we really have no idea what she is. she IS really smart, actually. she knows tons of words and used to do cool stuff before she got really old. oh, and three dogs basically fills our whole house. they are ridiculous. but great.

haha, mine isn't either! i actually sound like a total fool in this other one i'm uploading ... oh, and i actually considered not posting either of them because you can see my feet in both.

Well, it's pretty obvious she is one of those Scottishy, or Australiany, herding dogs. She looks like one.

I loooooove those dogs. Mainly, from an aesthetic perspective - They are so cute! But then add the smartness, and it's done.

when we got her, the people at the shelter told us she was part aussie, but i really can't see it, aside from the size and the facial coloring. she's just so white. my mom thinks she's part samoyed, which is possible. she *is* fluffy and white, so that fits.

Animals are the best thing ever invented. Clancy is soooo funny! "Rough! Rough!!!"

I actually picked my good cat because he was this little tiny, tiny, runty kitten, but he totally growled at the toy they were playing with with him. Like "GRRRR!"

He's like 4 inches long, and skinny, and he's hella growling at this toy!

The shelter people were all "He's kinda a runt, all his bros and sis's have been adopted!" But besides the tiny growl, I knew I found my boy because he was all lovey and snuggly on the BART ride home. Most cats would just yowl, he seemed right at home.

He just wanted me to hold him by my neck. He slept right on my neck his whole kittenhood. I had to be there for him when he first went outside - he was nervous, and looking for me. He still does those things, he's very bondy. Put simply, he's my DogCat boy. He loves me, and I love him.
He jumps into my arms, too. Jumps right up, and I catch him.

Presenting my roomie, AKA my lovable bitch of a bird, Nelly.

And my first (and only, so far) cat, Snuggy. He died about... seven years ago? Crap. I can't believe it's been that long.

As a wee kitten with my dad, who looks decidedly bored.

And later, enjoying a Christmas feast...
