Default My So-Called Life.

So this series is amazing.

I miss it - so I ordered it online, though it's out of print, so basically I paid some guy to send me the burned series (totally fine by me - I was desperate to see it again.)

And oh how I had forgotten just how much I loved that show. Any other My So-Called Life fans? sigh. The show made me all nostalgic again...

Jordan Catalano. Holy cow I love him. Did you see Prefontain? Jared Leto is great in that movie.

I could really identify with her character. I was miserable in high school, my friends were crazy, my mother was critical, and I was socially awkward. Woops - overshare!

They just aired it on the "N" channel (Noggin, I think is its full name) a year or so ago...got the whole thing on VHS. I think they released it on DVD not too long after they showed the entire series...I can't believe they took it out of print so soon.

I watched this show religiously. then, after it went off I never watched it again and honestly I don't remember a single thing about it except the episode that dealt with Claire Danes' character's best friend and something about an angel and snow or some **** like that.

see? told you. don't remember a thing.

The "Christmas episode"...that one was really a gut-wrencher.

Yes! I used to love it. I wanted to be Rayanne, minus her drunken mother. They showed re-runs awhile ago on Family, and I taped a few episodes.

When Ricky comes out to his dad and gets thrown out! Oh man.

The pilot ep (which I watched last night) had me in tears because it brought so much back - and well the show is just magical. I adore it.

I am still kicking myself for not buying the show on DVD when it was first released, I remember seeing it and thinking "Oh I'll have to pick that up" then when I finally had the means to do so it was out of Print - now the cheapest I've seen them is $187 Except for the boots on Ebay - which I bought but I can't get rid of the subtitles so I'm NOT happy about that.

i have seen every episode of "my so-called life" ever made... about 25 times each. seriously, it was replayed on some cable channel here in canada, and since there were so few episodes, it just would whip through them over and over (there were what? two seasons? if that?) and i watched them over and over.

i wanted to BE rayanne, but at the same time, she would have been the girl i was terrified of in high school. i loved ricky. adooored ricky. the parents always creeped me out. but it was all about the kids. and it was as close to real-life as i've seen high school portrayed.

now... what about "twice in a lifetime?" i loved that show, too. first and only time i have ever seen anorexia portrayed as it really is. i used to find it physically painful to watch.

I absolutely loved Rayanne too - and watching last night - still do - she's just a great (yet sad) sort of character. And though I couldn't really stand his character I always thought Brian Krakow was just so cute

I saw that! I also saw AJ on... Law and Order, I think it was not too long ago. It took me a second to figure out who it was. She doesn't look much different. I saw the guy who played Ricky on TV for a split second on some E! Tonight thing. Looks the same, too, only he has facial hair now.

LOL - my mom always said the same thing! Wonder what he's up to now. Even though his character was annoying, I liked him better than Mr Dreamboat Katalano. Do you remember the Halloween episode? That rocked.

I don't remember the Halloween episode But I'll see it soon as I've now got the whole series

I can't wait...oh but watching the pilot reminded me of how very annoying I find Angela's sister...ugh.
