I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow - I'm tired and want a break...but I'm not getting time off until the end of October. Really I should complain since I have only been working there two months

I am just checkin email and gonna call a buddy. I went to dinner with a few friends. The father of one, an 80 year old Republican, was with us. He was a hoot. I loved him. It was a very memorable evening. I had a few stiff drinks. And Daddy paid, God love him.

wishing we had more $$$ in the coffers, tonight is the Flaming Lips concert at the Zoo Amphitheatre (Which is being filmed-I want to see this UFO stage they will debut tonight) and Tuesday the 19th is "Gigantour 2006" also at the Zoo (Gigantour 2006-Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Opeth, Lamb of God, Overkill & a few newer metal bands) so looks like I will miss 2 great shows in less than 1 week.

Downloading the PRI (Public Radio International) program This American Life - then dumping it into our system to air tonight.

It's a pretty good show - David Sedaris fans - he's on there a ton.

And while it's downloading, I'm enjoying my Friday Frapucino treat and Ledging.
