Default Fake Rumours

So, while going through OLD vinyl this evening(man, am I bored!), I found an LP - Fleetwood Mac Songbook, as performed by Dancer's Image, on Pickwick Records, out of Minneapolis. Copyright 1978.
Did anyone else buy this, back in the day?(shut up, you peeps that weren't even BORN in 1978).
I'd completely forgotten that I even had it.
Songs are:
(side 1)
Warm Ways
Rhiannon
I Don't Want To Know
Songbird
Landslide
(side 2)
Say You Love Me
The Chain
Over My Head
Dreams

Anyone ever seen this?

Heck yeah! I owned that on cassette. That must have been one of the earliest--if not the earliest--full album of Fleetwood Mac covers that I ever owned. The singers are all screwed up on the verses of "The Chain." They can't sing on the beat. It used to enrage me.

Yeah, the recording's pretty cheesy. But, I remember liking it, nonetheless.
Back then, I lived and breathed anything FM.

Ah yes, I have this on vinyl also. Occasionally if someone complains of hearing too much Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks at my house I suggest we listen to some old Dancer's Image. Not long ago I was at a thrift store and saw that they had massacred someone elses songs (I can't remember who but it was some group that seemed even more ridiculous for them to attempt covering...Jethro Tull maybe?!?).

I took some digital pics of mine, as my scanner isn't big enough either.
I've listened to the album twice today(I like it, because I can play and sing all the missing part!).

I love The Ledge.

Yes! That's it! Somebody should buy it! I have no idea if it's really worth anything, but it's definitely an interesting piece of FM history.
You know that you've made it, when "nobodies" are trying to sell an album of covers of your songs.
