I need to make some outside friends in a really bad way, since I recently had to dump the few that I had (and the one I didn't dump moved to NYC). That might take some of the pressure off. This whole relationship thing happened at a time when I thought I was going to focus on making some new (different) friends and concentrate on rekindling my artistic spark and developing my spirituality, but that (especially the spirituality part) seems like it's being forced into the closet, or onto the back burner, or something. I'm not liking it.

Like I said, maybe I just need some outside friends/interests.

And why don't you have an enormous layer of fat around your face in the before pics? That's the most hideous part of gaining weight, for me. But if I lost 80 lbs, I'd look like an apple on a stick.
